About Me

Dawn Robinson, LCSW, SEP, RYT200, CMT-200

I received my Master's in Social Work in 1998 from Washburn University and my LSCSW (Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker) license in 2001. Before private practice, I worked at a local community mental health center, providing therapy for children in foster care and those being adopted, as well as mental health services for their parents and families. My practice has evolved to focus on adults, including many in the medical field, veterans, and first responders. I also have a heart for fellow mental health professionals. I have been in private practice since 2005, and I now offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in Livingston, Montana.

I believe quality mental health care should be accessible to anyone. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is the primary service I provide and doing so with a somatic approach is the foundation of my work. Within KAP, I draw on my training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, trauma-informed yoga, and meditation. These tools can be life changing when used with both expertise and compassion, and they shape how I prepare you for a session, support you during it, and help you integrate afterward. I approach KAP at your pace, in a safe space, hopefully with a little laughter sprinkled in.

I work with Cassidy Boyer, MSN, CRNA, PMHNP  at Mend the Mind in Livingston who provides medical evaluations for the KAP sessions. She is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist and Montana native with over a decade of clinical experience using ketamine safely in medical settings. As a USAF veteran with combat deployments in 2008 and 2013, Cassidy understands firsthand the realities of trauma, isolation, and treatment-resistant mental health conditions in rural communities.

After years of witnessing ketamine’s therapeutic potential in anesthesia settings, Cassidy recognized an opportunity to bring this treatment to those struggling with depression, PTSD, chronic pain, and other conditions that resist conventional approaches. Currently completing post-master’s training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Montana State University, Cassidy combines anesthesia-level safety expertise with advanced psychiatric knowledge.

Healing is not meant to happen in pieces. Two experienced providers, working as one team, hold the medical and the therapeutic together, so you are supported at every turn. This is care that is safer, more ethical, and more effective.
